Does the map work offline?

The web version of Google My Maps needs an internet connection. Offline access to the delivered map in phone apps has not been verified. A KML file is included for compatible apps; check their offline support before travelling.

How do I add it to my Google account?

Tap the private link we email you — it opens straight in Google Maps and stays in “Your places”.

What exactly do I get?

Places are found through map search, mostly Google Maps, and grouped into colour-coded layers in Google My Maps. Some layers were drafted with the help of an AI model.
