Who makes these maps
Places are found through map search, mostly Google Maps, and grouped into colour-coded layers in Google My Maps. Some layers were drafted with the help of an AI model. This map has been reviewed against Google Maps data, and listings that are not places to visit, such as hotels, holiday rentals and tour agencies, were taken out.
Sample descriptions come from Wikipedia; photos from Wikimedia Commons, credited to their authors.
